Well what a quick term this has been!
We have all settled so well into class and are now familiar with the running of the school week. Things have been busy but here are our highlights…
We have enjoyed reading books in our reading garden. The children are remembering library books and our P3 pupils have accelerated reader programmes up and running. Ralph the dog watches over us in the reading garden just to keep an eye out!
Our topic has seen the classroom transform into a Woodland/Rainforest where we have been doing literacy, numeracy, science and art through our theme. It was lovely to see so many parents enjoy our open day activities and the children did an excellent job of teaching the adults.
We are busy looking after our plants for our growing aspect of our topic. We have named our plants, we’ve been measuring their growth and we have been singing/whispering to them in the hope that they grow.
With fundraising days, discos and parent’s evening to look forward to, the end of term will soon be upon us. Perhaps a little premature, however enjoy a restful and enjoyable holiday together.
