Primary 1/2 have been very busy this afternoon improving our green space beside the school. At the end of last year the pupils planted bulbs in the Community Garden and hopefully we will see the benefit of these next year. Today they had great fun planting pear, cherry, plum and apple trees. These will hopefully enhance the area and also encourage bees and butterflies into the currently bland green space.
This is all part of the bigger picture for Eco Week where classes are researching and developing the biodiversity of our school grounds and local area.
