This term, as a special homework task, P6R created African Savannah dioramas. All children were very creative – some used clay to make animals whilst others made origami animals. Miss Ross was very impressed (and extends her thanks and apologies to parents for the messy paint, clay, glitter etc.)!
Last Thursday, in the beautiful sunshine, P6R visited Slopefield allotment. Whilst there, the children conducted an experiment to find out which soil is best for growing potatoes. Following this, the class have written up a scientific report and look forward to returning to Slopefield in Term 4 to see if their hypothese are correct. Big thanks to Poppy’s Granda, Freddie’s Mum and Laura’s Dad for accompanying us.
It’s hard to believe Term 3 has come to an end. Have an egg-cellent Easter!
