P6R were very busy last week!
On Thursday morning, we completed Bikeability training. In the afternoon, we visited Terry at Slopefield to check how our potatoes are growing. Whilst there, we also planted a range of new vegetables including radishes, green beans, peas, cauliflower, lettuce and beetroot. We also picked rhubarb and were lucky enough to take some back to school. In addition, we were lucky enough to receive a talk from Nikki Baggaley from the James Hutton Institute who spoke to us about the benefits of soil.
On Friday, we visited Hazlehead Academy where we participated in a range of sports with children from other schools in our ASG. We had a fantastic time however, we were all exhausted by the end of the day!
