Airyhall Pupils Work on School Garden

Thank you to all the pupils who helped to put the finishing touches into our school garden today. We were lucky to have help from Mrs Littlejohn and our very knowledgable parent helpers. We also had donations from various garden experts and Aberdeen City Council.

We placed our ladybird crossing, planted in the rockery, planted bulbs in pots and planted vegetables in the poly tunnel. It all looks fantastic and representatives from each class helped out with the different jobs.

Each class has also been growing sunflowers in their classrooms. These have now been transferred outside and hopefully we will find out the winner of the sunflower competition August!
