Burns Supper and Chinese Dancing

Last week the Nursery children enjoyed celebrating Robert Burns birthday. They dressed in tartan and did some Scottish dancing in the hall and then came back to nursery to have haggis, neeps and tatties for their snack. Yum!

This week Eva’s mum came to nursery to tell us about Chinese New Year. She told us that red and gold are lucky colours. She showed us how to do a Lion Dance and then we used red ribbons to dance with too .

We had some noodles and prawn crackers for snack and we made some paper lanterns and fish with red and gold paper.Eva’s mum showed us her Acrobat and Kung Fu costumes and some of the children tried them on.
