This morning, P6R made Easter egg nests with Fairtrade products. In small groups, the children worked independently to choose the chocolate and cereal which they wanted to use, calculate quantities and weigh out ingredients with very little adult input. Miss Ross only helped melt the chocolate (which she did still manage to somehow burn)! As a follow up, the children will complete instructional writing next week.
Some P6R pupils also took part in today’s whole school Fairtrade assembly by reading out chocolate/Faitrade related poems which we wrote earlier in the week. Well done to all involved!
