P5B were visited today by a team from the Scottish Parliament. Their job is to work with different schools around the topic of human dignity. We learned that human dignity was about feeling happy, safe and healthy. Our family, school and community can help us with this.
We talked about our feelings, we shared some of our ideas and then made a dignometer. A dignometer measures our feelings about human dignity. Some things that made us feel good about human dignity were friendships, joke telling, celebrations, family time and achievements.
Here are some photos of us in action.
We are now onto the last fortnight of what has been a very busy term. Can I take this opportunity to say enjoy the holidays when they come. Fingers crossed for some sunshine!
