P7B @ Techfest And Holburn Gospel Church

Welcome to the first term of our final year in primary school! Where have the years gone? Great to see everyone looking refreshed after a lovely Summer’s break (although it seems so long ago now). We are off to a flying start with trips galore.

The first of our adventures saw us heading to RGU to take part in this year’s Techfest. We worked on series of worshops; STEM through the ages, Making things Move and Cable Bridges. Here are some pictures of us…

We have been busy in class too with our topic of ‘My Engineering World’. We have been learning about buoyancy by making tin foil boats. This week will see us become Bond agents who solve mysteries about friction.

Today we visited Holburn Gospel Church for a Bible Exhibition. We toured round various stands which gave us the history of the Bible and we found out some interesting information. We did get a bit competitive when we found out there was a quiz at the end. We didn’t come home with the trophy but we were complimented on our manners and behaviour. Well done P7!
